Privacy policy

Last updated: 30 October 2026

This policy explains what personal information Autarchy, Corp. (“Autarchy”, “we”, “us”) collects through this website and when you contact us, why we collect it, how we handle it, and your rights. We do not sell your personal information.

It applies to visitors to this website, and to prospective customers and customers in relation to their enquiries and their business relationship with us. It does not cover information that a customer places in an environment we operate for them. Our agreement with that customer governs that information.

What we collect and why

Website visits

Cloudflare serves this website. To deliver and protect the site, Cloudflare processes technical information about each request, such as your IP address, your browser type, the page you asked for and the time of the request.

We do not use analytics or advertising cookies. If we add analytics, we will ask for your consent before they run and update this policy.

Some pages remember a display preference, such as pausing motion, in your browser until you close the tab. It is not sent to us.

Correspondence

When you email us, we keep the correspondence, including your name, your email address and anything you choose to tell us, so that we can reply and keep a history of our conversations. We may record your contact details and our correspondence in our customer relationship management system to manage our relationship with you.

Customers

If you become a customer, we keep the information we need to provide our services, manage our relationship with you, and meet our legal and tax obligations.

Legal bases

If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, we rely on these legal bases:

  • our legitimate interests in replying to enquiries, managing business relationships and keeping our website secure;
  • the performance of a contract, when you are a customer;
  • your consent, where we ask for it.

When we disclose your information

These service providers process personal information on our behalf:

  • Cloudflare, for website hosting and security;
  • Microsoft, for email;
  • Zoho, for customer relationship management.

We may also disclose information when the law requires it, for example in response to a valid court order. If Autarchy is acquired by or merges with another company, we will notify you before your personal information is transferred or becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

Where your information is processed

Autarchy is a Canadian company. Our service providers may process your information outside Canada, including in the United States.

If you are in the European Union, the European Commission recognizes that Canada’s federal privacy law (PIPEDA) gives adequate protection to personal data transferred to Canadian businesses.

How long we keep it

We keep information only for as long as we need it for the purposes above. We delete enquiries that do not lead to a business relationship 24 months after our last contact. We keep customer records for the length of the relationship, and afterwards for as long as the law requires, for example six years for tax records in Canada.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you have the right to:

  • know what personal information we hold about you and how we use it;
  • access that information and get a copy;
  • correct it;
  • ask us to delete it, subject to limits in the law;
  • object to or restrict how we use it;
  • receive it in a portable format;
  • withdraw your consent, where we rely on consent;
  • complain to a privacy regulator.

To make a request, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity before we act on a request.

Complaints

If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to:

  • in Canada, the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia;
  • in Quebec, the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec;
  • in the European Union or the United Kingdom, your local data protection authority.

How we secure your information

All information sent between this website and your browser is encrypted with TLS.
